It is a celebration! and we would like you to join us. On May 15th - we
celebrate the feast of Pentecost – the birthday of the Church. We will
celebrate the different languages and cultures represented in our faith
community. At the 10:15 a.m. Mass the scripture readings will be in
different languages and our music will reflect our different cultures.
Yes, there will be food! – after mass we will gather in the PAC to have a meal of the different dishes from our different cultures. The KCs will provide Jambalaya and White Beans (our Louisiana cultural dish) – everyone else provides a cultural dish (Additional suggestion - last name beginning with A-L bring a salad and M-Z bring a dessert). If you would like to be a part of the planning process, please join us on Wednesday, April 27th at 6:30 p.m. in the PAC.
Are you being called to serve the Lord during the Sacred Liturgy? Have you considered the ministry of altar server? This is an important ministry serving in the sanctuary at the Altar of Christ during the sacrifice of the Mass. All parishioners are eligible and encouraged to volunteer for this ministry including men, women and children. If you are in the 4th grade or above, please think and pray about this situation. Remember adults, you too can serve in this capacity. Please watch the movie video feature on this page about the ministry of Altar Server. You can sign up for this ministry online ».
